Bernard Courtieu

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Bernard Courtieu joined IntegraGen as CEO in September 2007. Prior to joining IntegraGen, Mr. Courtieu achieved significant success as Practice Leader, and later as Vice President within Gemini Consulting's Life Sciences Division in France. His tenure with Gemini Consulting and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young yielded hands-on experience in improving the operational performance of pharmaceutical companies in the fields of research and development, industrial operations, supply, sales & marketing and information systems. Previous to this, Mr. Courtieu held the position of Country Manager, France, at Ariba (2004), the world leader in Spend management. In this role he assisted companies in analyzing and managing their corporate spending to achieve increased business process efficiency.  Mr. Courtieu holds a MBA from the “Instituto de las Estudios Superiores de la Empresa” (IESE) in Barcelona, Spain. He received his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Ecole Vétérinaire d'Alfort and University Paris XII, France.

 

 

 

Laurence Riot Lamotte

Laurence Riot Lamotte

Chief Financial Officer

Laurence Riot Lamotte joined IntegraGen in October 2011 as Chief Financial Officer.

She is former CFO of Aureus Science and LBMA. Her previous positions at Deloitte in the Audit Department, then at Thomson, brought her wide operational and international experience, leading to expertise in Strategic Financial spheres. She also managed several projects for the Deutshe Telekom French subsidiary.

Laurence has a degree from CESEM management school (RMS Group) and holds a German “Diplombetriebswirt”, as well as a Master degree from Paris-Dauphine University, in the field of “Telecoms and new medias”.

 

 



François Liebaert

Vice President of R&D and Medical Affairs

François Liebaert joined IntegraGen in 2011 as Vice President of R&D and Medical Affairs. Before joining IntegraGen, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Business Develpoment & Finance at BioSystems International. Prior to that, François held various positions in Medical and Clinical Development, Marketing and Business Development as well as management positions at Schering AG and Abbott Laboratories where he was Marketing Director for the French Hospital Product Division.

François Liebaert holds a Medical Degree (1985) from the Medical School of Lille (France) with a specialization in Anaesthesiology and an Executive MBA from the HEC business school group.

 

 

Emmanuel Martin

Sales and Marketing Director, Services and Arrays

Emmanuel Martin joined IntegraGen as Director Sales & Marketing for the Services Business Unit in July 2006.  Mr. Martin is responsible for the development of IntegraGen’s business efforts in the field of high quality SNP Genotyping Services and IntegraChips™ sales (high density BAC arrays) direct at the research community. He previously worked for eight years as Senior Sales Specialist in SNP genotyping and gene expression, and then Business Developer and Research Field Engineer in real Time PCR at Applied Biosystems, Applera, France. He also has over 4 years of research experience in molecular biology. Mr. Martin is graduate Pharmacist and obtained a French “DEA de Bases Fondamentales de l'Oncogénèse” (Master Degree of applied studies on oncogenesis) from the University of Paris V, France.

 

 

 

 

Francis Rousseau

Director of Genomics

Francis Rousseau joined Integragen in 2002. As Head of  Laboratories, Mr. Rousseau manages the implementation of high-throughput platforms and is in charge of  genotyping programs and service projects including SNPlex® and Illumina®). Mr. Rousseau has worked with both small entrepreneurial biotech companies and large pharmaceutical firms. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Rousseau held the position of Director of Genotyping at GenOdyssee where he set up a new ISO 9000 high-throughput SNP genotyping facility platform. Prior to this, he managed a Lab team dedicated to the genomic programs at Aventis Pharma. As a Researcher, Mr. Rousseau developed genotyping platforms and managed projects about the genetics of complex traits such as schizophrenia, Bi-Polar and Parkinson's diseases. Mr. Rousseau received his Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the “Pierre and Marie Curie” University where his research was focused on the localization and identification of  a gene involved in dysmorphic dwarfism (achondroplasia, hypochondroplasia and thanatophoric dwarfism) at U393 INSERM Institute under the direction of Prof. Arnold Munnich.

 

 

Larry Yost

General Manager, IntegraGen, Inc.

Larry Yost, R.Ph. is General Manger for IntegraGen, Inc. and is responsible for the company’s activities in United States. Mr. Yost has over 25 years of domestic and international medical technology experience with both small venture-capital startup companies and large multi-national organizations. Mr. Yost is a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of bringing change technology to the market and interacting with key opinion leaders to drive the adoption of innovative technology. Prior to joining IntegraGen, Mr. Yost was the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Expanding Orthopedics, a venture-capital backed company developing novel medical implant technology for spinal fusion and orthopaedic trauma.  Mr. Yost has also previously led marketing teams at Salient Surgical Technologies and at Vasca, Inc. Larry began his career as a sales representative and then a Medical Sciences Liaison at the Upjohn Company (subsequently acquired by Pfizer) followed by a global marketing role with Baxter Healthcare. Larry has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the Purdue University School of Pharmacy.
